WUHAI, April 7, (Xinhua) -- Wuhai Lake, located in Wuhai City, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, covers an area of approximately 118 square kilometers. To the west, it adjoins the Ulan Buh Desert, creating numerous unique and diverse sandy islands. The lake presents a stunning landscape, where half of the area is covered by clear blue water and the other half by sand, forming a breathtaking scene of both water and desert.
