NEW YORK, April 3 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted 59 km NNE of Calama, Chile, at 20:58:02 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 110.9 km, was initially determined to be at 21.99 degrees south latitude and 68.63 degrees west longitude. ■
