MANDALAY, Myanmar, March 31 (Xinhua) -- Chinese rescuers pulled out three people in the quake-hit Myanmar city of Mandalay within two hours on Monday.
Yue Xin, head of the first detachment of the China Search and Rescue Team, told Xinhua at the rescue scene about the swift rescue process.
"We started at 11 p.m. last night and worked until the sun rose this morning. It doesn't matter how long we work. The most important thing is that we can bring hope to the local people," Yue said.
A Chinese civilian rescue team of RAMUNION RESCUE has also been participating in the rescue works in Mandalay, according to Yue.
Chinese rescuers in Myanmar have so far saved six survivors.
