LONDON, March 29 (Xinhua) -- England international Eberechi Eze was the man of the match as Crystal Palace continued the team's excellent form and its positive run of results away to Fulham to book a place in the FA Cup semi-final.
Eze scored the opening goal after cutting inside and producing a powerful shot after 34 minutes and then set up Ismaila Sarr for Palace's second goal just four minutes later.
Fulham had started brightly, but the two goals left Marco Silva's side groggy and although it had 70 percent of the ball in the match, Eddie Nketiah assured Palace's win with around 15 minutes left to play.
Palace has now won four and drawn three of the last seven visits to Craven Cottage, while Fulham has failed to get past the quarter-finals in their last five attempts.
Nottingham Forest is also into the semi-finals after a penalty shoot-out win away over Brighton.
Forest beat Brighton 7-0 in the Premier League in their City Ground in February, but found things a lot closer in Brighton, although they were slightly the better side in the 120 minutes before the shoot-out.
Visiting goalkeeper Matz Sels was the hero in the penalties with saves from Brighton's Jack Hinshelwood and Diego Gomez to see Forest into the last-four for the first time since 1991.
Bournemouth hosts Manchester City, while Championship side Preston North End is at home to Aston Villa in Sunday's last two quarter-finals. ■
