HANOI, March 28 (Xinhua) -- Residents in Vietnam's capital Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and several other areas, especially those living in high-rise buildings, felt light tremors from the earthquake in Myanmar on Friday, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reported.
People in some areas in Hanoi, such as Hoang Mai, Thanh Xuan, Ha Dong and Thanh Tri districts, said they felt the shaking for about 3-5 minutes, the local media outlet reported.
In Ho Chi Minh City, people in high-rise buildings reported their apartments shaking for a while and had to run outside, local newspaper Tuoi Tre (Youth) said. ■
