NEW DELHI, March 27 (Xinhua) -- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written to chief advisor to Bangladesh's interim government Muhammad Yunus, extending his wishes on the occasion of the country's Independence Day, officials said Thursday.
Modi reiterated India's commitment to advancing a partnership between the two countries.
"We remain committed to advancing this partnership, driven by our common aspirations for peace, stability, and prosperity, and based on mutual sensitivity to each other's interests and concerns," Modi said. ■
