ISLAMABAD, March 24 (Xinhua) -- Sixteen terrorists were killed in a military operation in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the military said on Sunday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, said in a statement that personnel of security forces effectively engaged with the terrorists trying to infiltrate through Pakistan-Afghanistan border in North Waziristan district of the province.
The military said that security forces of Pakistan are determined to secure its borders and wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country. ■
