JINHUA, Feb. 11 (Xinhua) -- Lipu sapling market, located in Jindong District in Jinhua, started its business on the seventh day of the first month on the Chinese lunar calendar. The market sells more than 300 kinds of fruit saplings, mainly to Jiangxi, Hubei, Shandong, Fujian and Jiangsu provinces, etc.
Since Feb. 4, 2025, the market's total volume of business has reached about 60 million yuan (about 8.21 million U.S. dollars).
Dubbed as the "town of saplings," Jindong has a sapling planting area of more than 100,000 mu (about 6,667 hectares) and over 30,000 employees working in relative industry.
