GAZA, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- Following the recent ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, which took effect on Jan. 19, Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are grappling with immense challenges in rebuilding their lives.

The cessation of hostilities has brought some respite, but the damage inflicted after months of conflict has left deep scars.

In Gaza, much of the infrastructure -- homes, schools, hospitals, and roads -- has been destroyed or severely damaged.

The rebuilding process is complicated by a lack of resources, widespread displacement, and inadequate aid.

Tens of thousands of families are left without shelter, living in makeshift tents or overcrowded camps.
