The U.S. decision to withdraw from the World Health Organization (WHO) will make Americans and the world less safe from public health threats, according to an article published recently on the website of the U.S. magazine Time, citing multiple health experts.
"What weakens WHO makes us all less safe ... What strengthens WHO makes us more safe," said Tom Frieden, former director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
