TAIYUAN, Jan. 9 (Xinhua) -- One person was killed and two others were injured in an explosion at a plant in Wanrong County, north China's Shanxi Province, at around 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
According to local authorities, the plant belongs to a new energy company. Investigations into the cause of the accident, as well as medical treatment for the injured, are ongoing. ■
