GAZA, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) -- Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are facing a severe food shortage this winter due to ongoing Israeli attacks, which have disrupted supply chains and hindered the delivery of humanitarian aid.

Many families in the enclave are unable to access basic food supplies and clean water, while prices for essentials have skyrocketed.

People in Gaza have to wait in long queues for hours at food distribution centers. More than 14 months after the outbreak of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in October 2023, the humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to deepen.
