KHOST, Afghanistan -- At least four people were killed late Saturday night in a gas cylinder blast in eastern Afghanistan's Khost province, a local official confirmed Sunday.
Khost provincial government spokesman Mustaghfir Gurbaz told Xinhua that the incident took place in a residential apartment located on the outskirts of Police District 2 in Khost City, capital of the province, leaving four people dead, including a woman and three children. SEOUL -- South Korea's impeached President Yoon Suk-yeol on Sunday turned down the third summons request to call him in for questioning in an investigation into his botched martial law imposition, Yonhap news agency reported on Sunday, citing an investigation body.

TOKYO -- Japan's average temperature in 2024 is likely to hit a record high for the second consecutive year, local media reported.
