OTTAWA, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is planning to shuffle his cabinet soon, local media reported on Thursday.
According to CTV News, the reshuffling would come as early as Friday. There are a number of vacancies to fill, as several ministers in recent months have either left their cabinet positions, or have announced they are not seeking re-election.
It will come amid turmoil for the Liberal government after the shocking resignation of Chrystia Freeland, the former finance minister, on Monday, reported CTV News.
It is not clear how sizable this shuffle will be, CTV News reported. ■
