MOSCOW, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) -- Former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his family have arrived in Moscow and have been granted asylum by Russia for humanitarian reasons, local RIA news agency reported Sunday, citing a source from the Kremlin.  ■
