SHIJIAZHUANG, China, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- The fourth "Belt and Road" Chess Open concluded in Qinhuangdao city of north China's Hebei Province on Wednesday.
The seven-day event attracted 98 players from 16 countries and regions, including China, Spain, Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan.
Chinese player Xiao Tong won the open group, followed by China's Kong Xiangrui and Dai Changren after nine rounds of competition.
Foreign chess players also went to seven chess schools in Qinhuangdao to interact with local children during the tournament. ■
