AMMAN, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army said Tuesday it air-dropped some 6.6 tons of essential food supplies on the northern Gaza Strip using two Royal Jordanian Air Force planes.
According to the state-run Petra news agency, the army reaffirmed continued efforts to send humanitarian and medical aid through airdrops, humanitarian air bridges, and land convoys to Gaza to help the people there overcome the difficult circumstances.
Since the start of the Israel-Hamas conflict, the Jordanian army has made 124 airdrops, with an additional 266 airdrops carried out in cooperation with other countries. ■
