BEIJING, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted east of the South Sandwich Islands at 0403 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 57.44 degrees south latitude and 7.75 degrees west longitude. ■
