XUZHOU, China, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- Kenyan runner Dennis Kemboi Bera Kusimba claimed the men's title at the Xuzhou Marathon on Sunday.
Kusimba completed the race in two hours, 16 minutes, and 23 seconds, finishing ahead of China's Yang Bowen, who took second place. Kenyan Shadrack Kipkogey finished third.
In the women's race, China's Li Caixia won with a time of 2:47:52, while Kenyans Josphine Chepkirui and Ruth Chepkoech finished second and third, respectively.
In the half-marathon events, Wen Min of China won the men's title, and Kenyan Naomi Kakoko Limamurei took the women's title. ■
