ISLAMABAD, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- Five terrorists and four security members were killed in a clash between security forces and militants in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Thursday, the military said in a statement.
The incident happened in South Waziristan district of the province where a fire exchange took place between the two sides, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistani military, said in the statement.
A clearance operation was being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists in the area. ■
