LALITPUR, Nepal, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) -- People worshiped and thanked dogs for their loyalty and services during the Hindu festival of Kukur Tihar in Lalitpur, Nepal.
On this day, dogs are decorated with tilaka, a mark worn usually on the forehead, and wear flower garlands around their necks. Worshippers offer them various foods including meat, milk, eggs, and dog food.
