SUVA, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- The Fijian government is facing significant challenges in establishing an effective cybersecurity framework, as evolving technologies pose greater cybersecurity threats to the country, said a Fijian official.
Deputy Prime Minister and Ministry for Trade, Co-operatives, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Manoa Kamikamica highlighted a global framework for Fiji to develop a robust cybersecurity infrastructure, reported Fiji Broadcasting Corporation on Tuesday.
According to Kamikamica, the ministry is currently working on establishing a national computer emergency response task force to closely monitor cyberattacks and implement effective remediation measures. ■
