SINGAPORE, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- Singapore Airlines (SIA) transported over 2.1 million passengers last month, up 14.1 percent year-on-year, according to its operating statistics released Tuesday.
The cargo loads of SIA Group increased 12 percent year-on-year in September, supported by stronger demand for new mobile products.
Meanwhile, the low-cost airline Scoot within the group recorded more than 1 million passengers, a year-on-year decrease of 3.2 percent.
The SIA Group's passenger network covered 127 destinations as of September, and the cargo service comprised 131 destinations. ■
