BEIJING, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- China plans to recruit 39,700 civil servants to work for central government agencies and institutions directly under them in the 2025 civil servant intake, the State Administration of Civil Service said on Monday.
Applications will be accepted from Oct. 15 to 24 on the official recruitment website, the administration said.
Candidates will need to take a national written exam, which is scheduled to be held on Dec. 1 across the country, while those applying for certain positions will need to take additional professional skills tests.
To strengthen civil service for the grassroots level, 27,500 positions are designated to institutions of or below the county level.
A total of 26,700 positions will be exclusively open for this year's university graduates to boost the employment opportunities for this key demographic. ■
