MAZAR-I-SHARIF, Afghanistan, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- A one-day exhibition displaying domestic products opened Thursday in Mazar-i-Sharif city, the capital of north Afghanistan's Balkh province, said Mohammad Hussain Azimi, an official with the provincial agricultural directorate.
A variety of local products, including agricultural products and handicrafts, were displayed in 80 kiosks, most of which were run by women at the fair, Azimi added.
Sadaf Amiri, a stall-runner at the exhibition, expressed her satisfaction with holding such exhibitions and urged the Afghan administration to organize more fairs. ■
