KABUL, Oct. 9 (Xinhua) -- About 350 international flights cross Afghanistan's airspace daily, the spokesman for the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation said.
"More or less 350 international flights cross Afghanistan's airspace every 24 hours," the national Radio and Television quoted Imamudin Ahmadi as saying on Wednesday.
About 260 international flights crossed Afghan airspace daily a couple of months ago, while the number was around 100 a year ago.
The increase demonstrated security in Afghanistan, the official said. ■
