BEIRUT, Oct. 7 (Xinhua) -- Israeli airstrikes in various regions of Lebanon have resulted in 22 fatalities and 111 injuries over the past 24 hours, the Lebanese Health Ministry reported on Monday.
The ministry reported that 15 people were killed and 46 others injured in Mount Lebanon. Additionally, eight people were injured in the Baalbek Hermel district.
In the Bekaa region, 12 were wounded, while in the Nabatieh governorate, four fatalities and 26 injuries were recorded. Furthermore, three people were killed and 19 injured in the South governorate.
Since Sept. 23, the Israeli army has conducted intensive attacks on Lebanon, resulting in at least 2,000 deaths. ■
