NEW YORK, Sep. 13 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted 57 km SSE of Koshima, Japan at 23:03:41 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 29.0 km, was initially determined to be at 29.80 degrees north latitude and 130.85 degrees east longitude. ■
