KATHMANDU, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- Nothing stops sons and daughters from celebrating Kuse Aunsi, or Father's Day, in Kathmandu, Nepal, during which many of them offer prayers to the Shiva shrine at Gokarna Temple.
On this auspicious day, people often go home to meet and spend quality time with their fathers, or visit holy places to perform "shradh" in memory of their deceased fathers.
Kuse Aunsi is a Hindu festival in which fathers, living or past, are honored.
