SINGAPORE, Aug. 24 (Xinhua) -- Otter Working Group, a conservation working group in Singapore, helped a wild smooth-coated otter pup returned to its family successfully in the country's East Coast Park.
The smooth-coated otter pup was seen left behind when the family relocated their den.
Sensitive to pollution, the presence of otters is a testament to good water quality. In small, dense and highly urban city-states like Singapore, broad public education and awareness are needed to protect such native wildlife.
