BEIJING, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- Shaanxi Union FC announced on Wednesday that a first-team staff member has been sacked after beating up a team doctor in a physical clash.
The work-related bust-up happened on Monday afternoon in which Lyu Yan, who was working with the Shaanxi club's first team, wounded team doctor Liu Renbo, the Xi'an-based club said in a statement.
Lyu, detained by the police, was discharged from his duty that day following an investigation into the accident by the club. Liu had been whisked to the hospital for treatment, according to the statement. Endtiem
