BEIJING, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted Jujuy Province, Argentina at 0655 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 256.1 km, was initially determined to be at 22.26 degrees south latitude and 65.98 degrees west longitude. ■
