HANOI, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- The export of Vietnam's processed and manufactured industrial goods brought home nearly 192 billion U.S. dollars in the first seven months of 2024, Vietnam News Agency cited the Ministry of Industry and Trade on Tuesday.
The export accounted for 84.6 percent of the total export value, up 15.4 percent year-on-year, said the report.
Many groups of products recorded high growth such as cameras, camcorders, and components with 51.5 percent; and computers, electronic products, and components with 30 percent.
Export turnover to countries in Africa, Eastern Europe, Northern Europe, and Western Asia has increased.
Vietnam News Agency cited experts as saying that expanding the market for processed and manufactured industrial products was considered a top priority for maintaining the country's economic growth in the context of increasing inventory levels. ■
