ULAN BATOR, Aug. 9 (Xinhua) -- A ceremony was held at the Chinese Cultural Center in Ulan Bator, the capital of Mongolia, on Friday to present admission notices from Chinese universities to Mongolian students.

A total of 64 Mongolian students, who will study in China with Chinese government scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year, received their admission notices at the event.

Li Zhi, counselor of the Chinese embassy in Mongolia and director of the Chinese Cultural Center in Ulan Bator, highlighted growing academic exchanges between the two countries.

"The number of Chinese learners and enthusiasts in Mongolia has increased year by year. China's rapidly developing economy and technology, rich cultural heritage, excellent educational resources, and harmonious social environment are attracting more ambitious young Mongolians to study in China," Li said.

Li encouraged the students to make the most of their time in China. "Cherish your learning opportunities, study diligently, and continuously improve your knowledge, skills, and personal development. Adjust both physically and mentally to your new environment, pay attention to climate changes, and maintain your health. Fully utilize this opportunity to gain a deep understanding of Chinese society and culture," he added.

Arvijikh Khaliunaa, who received a scholarship for international relations at Tsinghua University, said, "I am honored to receive the Chinese government scholarship. It not only recognizes my past efforts but also provides significant support for my future studies and development." She said she would study diligently to enhance her professional knowledge and skills, meet expectations and contribute positively to the society.
