TEHRAN, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) -- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on Thursday discussed the expansion of bilateral relations.
In a phone call, the two sides explored ways to enhance ties between Tehran and Rome, according to a statement published on the website of the Iranian president's office.
They also addressed key regional and international issues and discussed ways to ensure peace, stability, and security, the statement said. ■
