NEW DELHI, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) -- India's woman wrestler Vinesh Phogat Thursday announced her retirement from the wrestling saying she does not have further strength to continue.
Her announcement to quit the sport comes a day after her disqualification from the ongoing Paris Olympics.
The 29-year-old was disqualified Wednesday hours before her finals in the women's 50kg freestyle match at the Paris Olympics for being overweight by 100 grams. ■
