HONG KONG, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.6 jolted Kyushu, Japan at 0742 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 31.75 degrees north latitude and 131.61 degrees east longitude. ■
