As scorching summer temperatures sweep across many parts of China, Heilongjiang, China’s northernmost province, has attracted a large number of tourists with its cool climate and diverse summer tourism resources.

Data shows that as of now, the province has witnessed an 8 percent year-on-year increase in inbound tourism orders in July and August.

In addition to being a summer resort destination, Heilongjiang, rich in cultural heritage and tourism resources, has vigorously promoted cultural tourism over the years.

Located on the border between China and Russia, Heihe City in Heilongjiang Province, where summer temperatures can drop below 20 degrees Celsius, is bustling with tourists in summer.

With an excellent ecological environment, cool climate, and improved facilities, Heihe has vigorously developed its tourism industry in recent years.

Over the years, the tourism industry around Xingkai Lake has seen continuous development, with upgraded facilities and improved services.

Located in the northernmost part of the province, Mohe City boasts a comfortable summer temperature, making it a popular summer retreat.

In recent years, Mohe has launched a number of boutique tourist routes focusing on summer vacation, forest health, family gatherings, and arctic self-driving.
