PARIS, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- There was an incredible French one, two, three finish in the final of the men's BMX racing on Friday night as Joris Daudet claimed the gold medal, with Sylvain Andre second and Romain Mathieu third.
With French President Emmanuel Macron in the stands, Daudet finished the 400-meter course in 31.422 seconds, followed by Andre with 0.284 of a second behind, and Mathieu, 0.600 of a second slower.
It is the first time one country claimed the first three places in a BMX final. ■
