CHATEAUROUX, France, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- Switzerland's Chiara Leone won the women's 50m rifle 3 positions title at the Paris Olympics here on Friday.
The 26-year-old Swiss capitalized on reigning world champion Zhang Qiongyue's two 8.8 shots to take the victory in an Olympic record of 464.4 points.
China's Zhang settled for bronze on 452.9 behind American Sagen Maddalena who took silver in 463.0.
China tops the shooting medal tally with four gold, two silver and one bronze medals. The Olympic shooting competition will run until Aug.5. ■
