MOSCOW, July 30 (Xinhua) -- Two Russian Tu-95MS strategic bombers carried out a scheduled flight over the neutral waters of the Sea of Japan on Tuesday, the Russian defense ministry said in a statement.
The bombers were accompanied by Su-35S and Su-30SM fighter jets during the flight, which lasted more than 10 hours, the defense ministry said.
"The flight was carried out in strict accordance with international rules for using airspace," it added. ■
