TASHKENT, July 30 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed in a car accident in the Samarkand region of Uzbekistan on Monday.
According to local media, the accident happened in the Urgut district of the Samarkand region. A 21-year-old driver lost control of his car, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with another vehicle.
As a result, three people were killed and three others were hospitalized with various injuries.
A criminal case has been set up against the incident, and an investigation is underway. ■
