ULAN BATOR, July 26 (Xinhua) -- The 18th general assembly of the East Asia Inter-Regional Tourism Forum (EATOF) kicked off in the central Mongolian province of Tuv on Friday, with the aim of boosting tourist arrivals to Mongolia.
This year's forum is attended by 38 representatives of more than nine countries, including Mongolia, China, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Laos and Cambodia, according to the forum's organizer.
The participants of the three-day event will tackle information about tourist industry and policy as well as collaborative strategies to boost tourism in their individual provinces. ■
