YANGON, July 18 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar exported 247,291 tons of black grams between April and June of the 2024-25 fiscal year, earning over 242 million U.S. dollars, according to data released by the Ministry of Commerce on Thursday.
From April 1 to June 28 this year, the country shipped 247,225 tons of black grams via sea route, while it exported 66 tons via land border, the ministry's figures said.
Myanmar exported black grams to China, India, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and other countries, according to Myanmar Pulses, Beans, Maize and Sesame Seeds Merchants Association.
As of June 28, Myanmar earned over 570 million dollars from exporting 661,729 tons of beans and pulses. ■
