HONG KONG, July 18 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 jolted southeast of Honshu, Japan at 11:07 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 101.6 km, was initially determined to be at 33.55 degrees north latitude and 140.44 degrees east longitude. ■
