SINGAPORE, July 17 (Xinhua) -- The non-oil domestic exports (NODX) in Singapore contracted 8.7 percent year-on-year in June, extending the 0.7 percent decline in May, the government agency Enterprise Singapore said Wednesday.

Both electronic NODX and non-electronic NODX declined in June.

NODX to Singapore's top markets as a whole fell in June. The largest contributors to the decline were the United States, China's Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland.

Singapore's total trade increased 1.2 percent year-on-year in June, moderating from the 13.9 percent expansion in May. Total imports rose 4.7 percent, while total exports declined 1.9 percent.
