MEXICO CITY, July 13 (Xinhua) -- Mexico international forward Henry Martin scored either side of halftime as Club America eased to a 3-1 home victory over Queretaro in Mexico's Liga MX on Friday.
Javairo Dilrosun put the hosts ahead in the second minute by sweeping home a first-time effort from 15 yards.
America doubled their lead six minutes later through Henry, who headed into the far corner following Alex Zendejas' cross.
Pablo Barrera pulled a goal back for the visitors on the stroke of halftime when he combined with Samuel Sosa to send a first-time volley into the bottom left corner.
But America restored their two-goal cushion through Henry, who received Dilrosun's pass and took a touch before firing a close range effort past goalkeeper Guillermo Allison.
Elsewhere, San Luis drew 2-2 at Mazatlan, Atlas were held to a 1-1 home draw by Tigres UANL, while Club Tijuana prevailed 4-2 at home to Guadalajara. ■
