YANGON, July 12 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar's Yangon Region Investment Committee (YRIC) approved seven new investments in Yangon In June, which will create over 3,000 jobs, the state-run media Myanmar Radio and Television (MRTV) reported on Friday, citing the YRIC.
Those investments are approved with a total capital amount of 4.023 billion kyats (about 1.9 million U.S. dollars) and 4.845 million U.S. dollars and 3,060 local job opportunities can be created, the report said.
These include three Myanmar-owned investments in the hotel services sector and four foreign-owned investments in the industrial sector, according to the YRIC. ■
