NEW YORK, July 10 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted southwest of Sumatra, Indonesia, at 21:00:56 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 5.38 degrees south latitude and 101.00 degrees east longitude. ■
