NEW YORK, July 8 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted near coast of Peru at 19:33:27 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 15.86 degrees south latitude and 74.76 degrees west longitude. ■
